Tiles

We have done all the tile designs for the Ground floor except for the childrens bathroom, where the type of tiles were not decided.

The tiles shortlisted are:

Floorings

Lounge spaces of GF - Yellow Sandstone ( Jaisalmer) (available on site )

Below staircase area - Clay tiles from Mangalore (within 3/4 days)

Dining sunk area - Red Attangdi ( plain are available rightaway to a tune of 600 s.ft)

Kitchen Flooring - Yellow jaisalmer (avail. on site)

All outside patios -Mangalore Clay tiles (within 3/4 days)

Childrens Bedroom - Light green attangdi with yellow border of jaisalmer and star ? or other motif strewn in pattern ( avail. 20 days from order)

GB next to children - Red attangudi tile with motif tiles 110029 ( motif. avail. 20 days from order, red on order)

GB next to Kit - Yellow Attangudi tiles laid in diagonal ( available)

All toilet areas flooring - Flamed and honed finish natural granite (within 4 days)

Vertical Wall coverings - Dadoing

Childrens toilet - undecided

Guest room next to childrens toilet - 8"X8" Spanish screen printed tiles from Ram Ceramics ( imported on order 3 weeks )

Kitchen dadaoing - 8X8 tiles from Keramos with motif ( avail. after 3 weeks from order)

GB next to kitchen - 4x4 tiles from RAK ( 2-3 days delivery from mumbai)

We either have to order and wait for these tiles, in which case there will be subsequent delays in finishing the project according to deadline, or

We use maximum jaisalmer on the GF , and for the toilets use only readily available RAK tiles, dispensing off with the handmade tiles.

We could use attangudi for one of the bedrooms and the sunken dining areas.
