I was on site on monday to review the work:
Besides the workmanship there are several issues:

Ashok tells me that there were certain changes regarding the planter near the WC and tub:
It was eliminated, and certain site decisions were also taken to change positions of WC cubicle etc.

Because of all this, the space to access the tub and shower cube area is not the same, it is much reduced and after glass of shower cube is fitted, one would have only two feet to squeeze through...

There are two aspects in this :
1 There were discrepancies between the written dimensions and the dimensions on site, in which case the contractors should have brought it to our notice before execution

2 According to the contractor there were certain ad-hoc changes including the planter that was specifically meant to create a 1 m clear space for a person to walk thru etc. These changes were informed to us either by client or contractors.

Again the contractor tells us that the final shape for the tub is now approved , I have not seen it nor has a drawing been made, that can avoid further confusion.

The way forward is :

Lets make a detailed drawing once again of whatever changes the client wants.
Only after detailed drawings are finalised, will the contractor undertake work at one shot.
Dont compromise on any redoing of shoddy work on work not as per frozen plans, because any delay is still better than having a bad toilet for life
Let the contractor give a day by day schedule of getting the toilet redone
We will post an engineer on site to monitor the work on site, for the duration of the work.

My office will be mailing a pdf of the original toilet with clearances and distances for your reference

issues with bathroom

The following needs to be fixed:

1. The general tile work in walls and floor looks shabby, because the RAK tile used is of uneven edges. In such cases, i think its better that the joint should be left seep and raked and not filled with epoxy grout. 

Because the white grout is filled flush with the surface of the tile, the joint unevenness looks shabby. So, emphasise the tile uneveness by keeping joints deep and unfilled. 

Slightly darker grout, used deeper in joint also should help.

2. China mosaic on wash basin counter is uneven, because its reflects any uneven patterns in the wooden surface below.

This has to be removed, a laminate should be applied as underlayer, and all necessary precautions should be taken to see that the undersurface is totally in level.

3. The Joint between wooden and tile flooring should be neatly resiolved with a wooden beading or stainless steel 6mm flat as spacer.

4. WC and bidet cubicle seems to be larger than the drawing, and this may create a bottle neck when shower partition is provioded.

5. Also there was a small planter with pebble bed etc. in this area and it should be restored. 

6. The tub needs to be redone, for the following reasons:

A. Overall shabby laying of tiles.

B. The fillet radius of all corners needs to be substantially increased, as bisazza mosaic comes in 1"X1" and the lesser the curve, the lesser the tesselation and so more uneven the curve.

C. The tub is overall improportionate with the size of the bathrooms, and also the vantage position it has been accorded.

Please see if  we could have the tub as per the original size ( I will mail the original drawing), the size that was changed because of its volume. The present area of the tub, though enough for a single person is not in keeping with the rest of the bath.

7. The space behind the jacuzzi where the pump comes should be concealed with a pebble bed and planter as shown in original design.
